Welcome to F2,

Mrs Gau will be teaching on Mondays and Tuesdays, and Miss Szutka will be teaching on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Our teaching assistant is Miss Brownlie.

PE lessons will be taught on a Wednesday. PE kits will be kept in school, and sent home half-termly for a wash. Earrings will need to be removed for Wednesdays.

Children have a reading book and an organiser. These should be taken home each night. When a child reads at home, then they can colour a square on the Snakes and Ladder boards, which are stuck into the backs of their organisers.

Children will have daily Phonics lessons, and will be taught Mastery Maths and Space, Shape and Measures. We will have Funky Fingers activities, to strengthen fingers and develop fine motor skills. Access will be available to our EYFS playground throughout Continuous Provision sessions. Different rich texts will be used to develop vocabulary, which will be explicitly taught. This half term, our texts are The Everywhere Bear, The Very Last Leaf and Room on the Broom.

This half-term we have been exploring the classroom, forming friendships and learning about classroom rules and expectations. We have started learning about The Everywhere Bear, Phonics and working on our gross motor and  fine motor skills. We have enjoyed joining with F1 for our weekly RE lessons.
